the-unpopular-opinions: Not only is it relaxing, but it’s a skill that’s beneficial to oneself. Instead of paying $5 for a hat, I can pay $3 for yarn and make one myself.  and you can give everyone scarves, which are thoughtful because they’re handmade but cheap for the same reason.
